Goofs

In the first game Bruce (in voice-over narration) says they only had 3 base runners during the entire game and explains how each got out. Later he says it is their last at bat with 2 outs and he asks who hadn't been in yet. A small boy goes in and strikes out ending the game. Yet later in the car ride home Bruce's son (playing for the opposing team) describes how the game ended with a hit into a double play.

(at about 34 mins) There is a shot of Hallerton holding baseball bats and walking through a gate in the fence. In the next shot--from an outfield point of view--Hallerton is seen in the distance walking next to the backstop. However, in the next shot he is again shown walking next the backstop, but at a point which he would have already passed in the previous shot.

(at about 39 mins) The boy who got caught taking too big of a lead off of first base is called out after a throw down the line by the catcher. However, the 'out' call is incorrect because the first baseman would have had to apply a tag to the runner before the runner got back to the bag. Such a tag did not happen.
