Tom Poston, Dina Merrill, Johnny Carson and Betty White are this evening's panelists. Bud Collyer welcomes the panel, and they are presented with round one - three men who claim to be Nathan Boyer, the courageous man who went over Niagra Falls. The group appears puzzled, but Tom Poston, Dina Merrill and Johnny Carson peg the correct contestant. Next up, three women assert that they are Miss Clarice Richardson, 1961 Champion Cowgirl. Again, the panel is bemused, but Tom Poston and Dina Merrill correctly identify the authentic Miss Richardson. Finally, the group has to determine who of the three gentlemen presented are Mr. John M. Steele, World War II Paratrooper - whose role in the Second War will be depicted in the epic film, "The Longest Day." Mr. Collyer reveals that Mr. Steele will be played by the Oscar-winning actor, Red Buttons. Tom Poston is having a third crown evening, for him and Johnny Carson are the only two on the panel to identify accurately Mr. Steele.

Tom Poston, Dina Merrill, Johnny Carson and Peggy Cass are this evening's panelists. First up, three women are presented to the panel as Dorothy Sara, handwriting analysis expert; Indeed, host and moderator, Bud Collyer, read each of Miss Sara's analyses of the four panelists before the three ladies take their seats. Despite Miss Cass's script displaying a high level of intuition, Tom Poston is the only member of the group to identify the authentic Miss Sara accurately. Next up, three gentlemen are presented as a member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Michael A. Musmanno and author of, " Ten Ways to Die," which deals with the 1946 Nuremberg trials. The panel is unanimous in identifying the real Judge Musmanno. Finally, three young ladies claim to be Miss Anne Sidlauskas, the National College Coeds' Pocket Billiards Champion. This is Mr. Poston's evening, for, yet again, he identifies the real young woman who holds that title. Mr. Poston has been correct in every round tonight. Bud Collyer announces that he's off on vacation for a few weeks and that Merv Griffin will be substituting for him in the interim.

Dina Merrill, who claims to know nothing about this topic, knew enough to determine who the authentic Agatha Johnson is. Finally, three distinguished gentlemen who present themselves as Mr. Robert Allen Porter, the expert on the nearly extinct whooping crane. Though all three are very convincing, Dina Merrill, Johnny Carson, and Peggy Cass peg the genuine Mr. Porter. Merv Griffin thanks the panel and announces Bud Collyer's return next week.

Tom Poston, Mimi Benzell, Johnny Carson and Dina Merrill are this evening's panelists. In the first round, the panel is presented with three women, all of whom claim to be the mother of the celebrated pianist, Van Cliburn, winner of the 1958 International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow at the height of the Cold War. Though the three ladies are very convincing, Mr. Poston, Miss Benzell and Mr. Carson correctly identify the real mother of the classic musician. Next up, three gentlemen allege they are Mr. James Ramsey Ullman, author, and mountaineer, slated to join the 1963 expedition climbing Mount Everest. Again, Tom Poston, Mimi Benzell, and Johnny Carson peg the correct author and mountaineer. Finally, the panel is asked to identify the woman who claims to be Margaret Smith, choreographer of the Ringling' Brothers circus. The panel is less fortunate this time out as they are all stumped completely in their attempt to identify the Miss Smith.

The two gentlemen on the panel, Tom Poston, and Johnny Carson, correctly discern the real creator of the comic strip. In the second round, the group is asked to identify the director of the world's largest zoo, the Bronx Zoo. Betty Furness is the sole panelist who correctly selects the handsome Mr. William Conway, the youngest director of any zoo in the United States. In the final round, three ladies are presented as Aline Mosby, a female foreign correspondent who has covered several world events in recent years. Betty Furness recognizes the woman and disqualifies herself. Tom Poston is the only panel member to identify correctly Miss Moseby, who has just written a book based on her experiences.
