Goofs

Summertime

Edit

Continuity

When Jane first enters her hotel room; there is a scenic shot of the lagoon including a ship and a motor boat passing a Cathedral. However in the close-up shot of Jane along with the lagoon; there are now no boats or ships on the water.
On the hotel's veranda when Mrs. Yaeger is talking to Jane and the McIlhenny couple; her hand is resting down on the side of her husband's left leg while holding his hand. However, in the next shot, they are no longer holding hands and her husband's arm is now up with the elbow resting on the arm of the chair.
When Jane and Renato are in the plaza talking about gardenias; the amount of beer in his glass changes from one shot to the next.
Mauro approaches Jane at a water fountain, they talk and then leave the fountain. When they walk away, Mauro leaves wet footprints on the dry pavement. A pair of footprints from a previous take or from between takes can be seen to the right of the fountain, though Mauro doesn't go there onscreen.
The amount of wine in Di Rossi's glass when he first sees Jane - the glass is empty, then full.

Revealing mistakes

When Jane is leaving the antique shop after purchasing the goblet; there is a woman who appears to be a just regular passerby and not a hired extra. She reacted to the camera and crew with a surprising curiosity.
During the concert, there is an overhead shot of the crowd and orchestra below. However, the film seems to have some technical snafu. Apparently, they inserted a clip of the crowd into the shot but it caused the clip to come out shaky and erratic.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Jane says to Renato everything happens to him who waits; Renato responds with an mmm and then begins to utter something however the sound is muted.
