Goofs

Red Garters

Edit

Revealing mistakes

During the Reb/Rapael shootout Reb's hat is hit and the front of the crown blows upward at the same time there is a small puff of smoke showing where the squib went off.
During a dance number Calaveras Kate pulls the gun out of the holster of Rafael Moreno and shoots at his feet to make him dance. Rafael raises his arms up level with his shoulders as he dances. However he begins to lift his arms immediately after Kate pulls the gun and before she begins to shoot.
At the July the 13th celebration all the cowboys are wearing gun belts and holsters but only Reb Randall (Guy Mitchell), Rafael Moreno (Gene Barry) and Jason Carberry (Jack Carson) have guns in the holsters.

Miscellaneous

On the DVD closed captioning during the "Code of the West" (A Brave Man Will Die in the Morning) song the words are shown as "Goodbye Jane, Goodbye Joe" in actuality the words are "Goodbye James, Goodbye Joe".

Anachronisms

Although the time of the story is 1872, Rosemary Clooney's hairstyle is strictly 1953.
