At eight minutes, as Edward Shaw leaves the bar, there are two bottles of Coke on the left close together. When he returns at 10 min, one bottle has moved.
Beginning at nine minutes, Doris Hillman, at poolside with Edward Shaw, sits on a chaise lounge and places her towel over the back of the chair. For the next three minutes, her towel constantly shifts from side to side and gets crumpled in the process.
Shaw is told by his secretary Mary that the rest of the first fifty thousand dollars is due on June the First. He notes that it is now May the 22nd, and then says that is nine days away (to June 1st). But if one works it out, it is actually ten days, since to get from May 22nd to May 31st, one would have to add nine days, and then one more from May 31st to the First of June. It may be the writers or producers forgot May has thirty one days.
If the bartender who carded Madge had looked closer, he would have seen that it had to be a fake: Her address is listed as "Las Palmas St., Hollywood," but the street in Hollywood named Las Palmas is actually an avenue, and would be designated as such on an official document. Also, Las Palmas runs north and south, so the street number would also require a north or south designation.
