Walter Brennan and Audie Murphy in Drums Across the River (1954)

Goofs

Drums Across the River

Edit

Continuity

At about 53 minutes in when Gary and Morgan meet the sheriff and his men they show the straw blowing out of their wagon leaving it half empty but when they continue on it is full again.

Factual errors

When Audie Murphy is taken from jail to be hung he's still wearing his holster which he would have been relieved of when imprisoned.

Revealing mistakes

Stirrups are visible beneath the blankets on the Indians' horses.
Towards the end, when Audie Murphy leads the bad guys to the Sacred Indian Grounds, his hands are tied. Still tied when he jumps off his horse. Then when he starts fighting the main bad guy, his hands are untied and he's swinging wildly. When the Indians come up, his hands are tied again. His hands are tied the entire fight until Taos cuts them.
