Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Shemp Howard in Tricky Dicks (1953)

Goofs

Tricky Dicks

Edit

Factual errors

The Thrill Killer fires his revolver exactly 85 times without reloading. It's common for films to show a revolver being fired after its ammunition should have been exhausted, but this may the most shots fired in the history of the movies.

Revealing mistakes

When the 2nd bowling ball falls onto the Thrill Killer's head, it bounces exactly the way a real bowling ball wouldn't .
When Larry is taking the prisoner back to the cell after questioning, he stops at the table where he leaves Phil Arnold the prisoner leaning against it. The head of the prisoner leans up against the top shelf draw and shifts it over about 2-3 inches. Larry is seen returning to get the prisoner from behind the wall and this time the upper shelf is straight and not shifted out of place.

Crew or equipment visible

When the monkey sets the paper holder on Shemp's chair, a string or wire can be seen holding it in place.
