When the moon spacecraft leaves the space station from Dock 4, views from space show the docking hatch open. Views from inside the ship of the space station on the big screen clearly show the docking hatch closed.
When Bill is returning from setting up the relay, as he is crawling on the ground, the shadow of the spaceship leg changes position between close up and far away shots. In this same sequence, there are several shots of Col Briteis sitting frozen at the screen, evidenced by the clock second hand not moving.
As the Magellan is landing on the moon and descending behind the rocks, the black arm that is connected to the left of the model can be seen blocking out the stars behind it as it lowers.
Maj. Moore is talking from the moonbase to the space station using the large "Television Monitor". Right after the General says "Take off your rank son, this is man to man." the Major stands up and his shadow is now visible on the wall behind the General showing that the "Monitor" is just a hole in the wall and the space station set is on the other side.
When the commander switches between four outside views on the ship's main view screen, the clock in the upper left corner makes a jump each time the view changes. This shows that the 'instantaneous' cut from one camera to another actually took a while each time to set up -- probably a couple of stage hands had to change the background painting behind the big hole in the set wall. (Only applies to the second hand -- the hour and minute hands never move at all.)
The space station is described as having a titanium hull with steel bracing. This would therefore mean that the magnetic shoes described as necessary for walking around it would be useless (due to the low ferrous quality of Titanium) and in fact only be of any use on the brackets holding the hull together. Therefore magnetic shoes would be useless for walking round the space station except the few spots where the hull and bracing cross over.
When the Colonel suggests they land on the moon, the General replies they have only enough fuel to perform the survey mission and only 25 seconds margin of fuel. The ship expended a lot of fuel when leaving the station and even more landing on the moon. It should have had no fuel reserves left.
