Did anyone else catch when discussing the rescue operations, the Director uses the phrase, "north by northwest"? This movie came out seven years before Hitchcock's North by Northwest. There is already a great deal of chatter online about "north by northwest" not being a real compass direction (which is true based on how one should box a compass), or how it might have been inspired by a line from Hamlet (interesting), or by the fact that a Northwest airline plane appears in the plot (reasonable), but nothing referenced how this earlier movie used the same phrase. Convergent misdirectional script language? Go figure...
