when Edward is writing his notes down, he misspells the word nothing twice: spelling it nothnig.
In one scene a calendar of 1890 is shown. It shows June 1st on a Friday. In 1890 that date was on a Sunday. June 1st was on a Friday in 1951, the year the film was released.
When Edward promises Lynn that he will visit the continent, they are leaving her uncle's house. It is clearly a twentieth century structure, not a late Victorian home on a London street.
