When B.K. Doaks (Emil Sitka) is sitting against a packing crate after being knocked senseless, his eyes close just as Shemp throws water in his face to wake him.
The Stooges bake a cake to be used in the Southern scene and they accidentally use a torn potholder as one of the layers. Janiebelle serves the cake to the Stooges and two others, yet none of the men can cut or easily eat the their slices because of the potholder in the middle of the cake. Since they can't cut or eat any of the cake, Janiebelle should not have been able to cut the cake into the individual slices.
