Goofs

Side Street

Edit

Continuity

When Joe is looking for Harriet, he is seen leaving the front of Marie's Crisis Cafe. In the next shot, he appears to be inside the same place, indicated by the pattern of the iron grating on the double windows and their location in each shot.
At the end, when Joe wrecks the cab and the police close in, three cars pull up to the wrecked cab right away. In the very next shot a second later, showing the same scene from the same angle, only the first car that pulled up is there.
When Joe and Patrolman Charlie are talking early in the film, the top light of the traffic signal behind them is lit in the two-shot. In the following closeup of Joe, the bottom light is lit, then the signal changes to the bottom light at the next two-shot.
