In Tanner's initial escape from the posse, there are inconsistencies in the terrain, elevations and foliage. Most obvious is his riding down a steep slope to lose them. Even though the posse quits the chase while still on higher ground, when Tanner looks back at them, they appear to be at just about the same elevation.
During the fight scene in the mine over the gold a partial collapse of the wooden structure supporting the roof is caused by Scott crashing into a column. Pieces of the collapsed beams can be seen swinging around from the mine ceiling on silver grip chain used to 'safety' and control the special effect collapse instead of falling to the ground.
As Forrest Tucker's horse crosses a stream (at the 5:47 mark) you can hear the horse's hooves hitting wooden planks that were laid at the bottom of the stream.
At 26:50 minutes into the film, Randolph Scott is getting beaten up. The hits to his face have no sound of impact, and they also look phony, like they didn't really connect.
At around 14m, Scott and Tucker are back to their original clothes with no explanation at all.
They don't have to explain why they wanted their own clothes back and they had ample time to do it. No Goof here.
