After Bomba has supposedly been whipped for several minutes, Johnny Sheffield feigns being in pain, but there are no visible marks anywhere on him.
Bomba loves and respects all of the jungle animals, yet he wears a loincloth made of tiger skin.
However, it's possible he found a dead tiger and merely used the skin for his loincloth.
The shots of Bomba floating down the river, and some shots of Bomba running, reveal that Bomba is wearing dark briefs under his loincloth.
