First, sorry but I watched this Japanese film without any subtitles at all; and I don't understand this language. So, as usual, I will do my best to comment this one. This is more a drama than a true crime movie. You have no Yakuza here, but a tragic story which I could not really get for the reason I just explained. Some action in the last fifteen minutes but that's all as a crime flick. I would have preferred to see it with subtitles, of course. We have a social movie set in a very poor district and the scheme of love and friendship is also strong. The main character is a young policeman working in this city. That's all I can tell you, sorry.
