Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, and Patricia Medina in Abbott and Costello in the Foreign Legion (1950)

Goofs

Abbott and Costello in the Foreign Legion

Edit

Continuity

When the group is trying to escape the camp in Axmann's Jeep, it takes a bullet hole in the windshield. Then, in the next shot from the front, the windshield is intact again. It remains that way until they reach the fort, where more gunfire puts holes in it.
At the oasis, when Bud says "There's plenty of fish in there, boy!", he goes to sit on the big rock to take out his boot lace. But in the very next shot he already has his lace out with a piece of bread on it.
In the opening scene, set in New York City, Tor Johnson's character is called Abdullah. Later, when he appears in the Middle East, he is called Abou Ben and the person he is wrestling against, played by Wee Willie Davis, is called Abdullah.

Revealing mistakes

When the group, in Axmann's Jeep, rounds the corner with the man on the hood, the wire that pulls off the bed with the man on it can be seen.
When gunfire riddles the Commandant's office, the wire that yanks off Axmann's hat can be seen.
In the studio-bound scenes set in the desert there is a very noticeable seam in the painted backcloth depicting the sky with clouds and distant sand dunes.

Miscellaneous

While riding in the back of the jeep, Patricia Medina reacts visibly to something hitting her eye after the windshield is shot.
