Glenn Ford and Evelyn Keyes in Mr. Soft Touch (1949)

Goofs

Mr. Soft Touch

Edit

Continuity

In a long shot, Joe is driving through an alley that has one trash can. In a closeup shot, there are two tall trash cans and one short can into which he dumps the dough. When he returns to retrieve the money, the shorter can is on pavement with its top nowhere near where it was, almost level with the taller cans in the earlier shot.
When Joe opens the door to a room at the settlement house to look inside, his left arm is toward the door. When he closes the door, his right arm is toward the door.

Revealing mistakes

When Joe Miracle is playing dice with the group of kids at the settlement home, it can be seen that the numbers on the dice do not match what he's rolling to win money from them.

Crew or equipment visible

At 0:38, when Joe is in the piano shop and Byrd looks out at him, you can see a crew person's shadow on the left side of the screen.

Character error

Clara tells Joe she got him a ticket on the first boat leaving town, but when he checks the schedule in the newspaper, there are two other boats listed with earlier departure times than the boat Clara booked him on.
