The final scene is supposed to take place early in the morning, but it was filmed in the afternoon because of the sun position over the West Coast of Tuscany. Filming in the morning hours would have resulted in backlight problems.
The final scene was filmed with two units and the wide shot shows, top left, all the crew of the second unit, plus the camera.
