Goofs

Angels' Alley

Edit

Continuity

The car stripping organization is described as being at "The East Side Garage", but when we see it, the sign on the building reads "Aces High Garage". By WesternOne.

Factual errors

Satch's stolen police car, shown speeding along several blocks, is reported "going east on Pell St." In NYC, Pell St. is one-way heading west, and is barely two short blocks long.

Revealing mistakes

Early in the movie, when Slip (Leo Gorcey) speaks to both Daisy and Josie, behind them is a store front with the words 'Home Appliance Company'. When Father O'Hanlon arrives, Slip and Sach offer him a ride to the St. Vincent Boys Club, and when they arrive and get out of the car after a few blocks, behind them again is the 'Home Appliance Company' store.
A building in what's supposed to be in New York, bears the sign "Exchange Specie Bank Of Peiping", apparently a leftover from one of Monogram's "Charlie Chan" films. By WesternOne.

Errors in geography

During the stolen car chase, supposedly taking place in Manhattan, in one shot the U.S. Courthouse and City Hall in Los Angeles are seen.
