When the detective thinks he catches Gene & gang with the stolen money, he holds the wad of stolen bills in his right hand with his gun. In the very next camera angle, he is holding the money in his left hand along with the list of stolen bill serial numbers.
When Gene rides after the bad guys, the hoof beat sounds don't match his horse.
When Gene jumps in the wagon being driven by the two escaping bandits, he fights and defeats them one at a time as the wagon is being driven at breakneck speed through the terrain. The problem is, they could have stopped the wagon at any time and both could have taken him on together and had a better chance of defeating him.
