At 40 minutes in, when Tom Hanson (Burt Lancaster) pulls up to where Paula Haller (Lizabeth Scott) is and parks, the car is at an angle to the walk, but then all of a sudden it is parallel with the walk.
Eddie pours a cup of hot coffee down the back of the neck of a cafe customer, yet the customer does not cry out or make any sound.
When Paula and Eddie sit on the fence, the landscape behind them is clearly a backdrop--none of the many clouds in the sky moves during their talk.
