After reading the "Dear John" letter in the hospital, George crumples it up. Yet later when he shows it to Christy it seems to be intact.

George and Christy go hunting for the missing loot under a pier at night but don't need a light source to find it.

George Taylor is in the hospital at the beginning of the film with a broken arm and his head swathed in bandages. When they remove the bandages, he has a perfectly trimmed moustache.
