Landrush
coltras354 March 2024
As ever, the Durango Kid, the masked do-gooder, alias Steve Harmon (Charles Starrett) rides again, righting wrongs. In this outing, Harmon dons his Durango garb to rescue a group of homesteaders from scurrilous villains.

A typical Durango Kid western that is well-paced and has the usual furious action with plenty of lead slinging and fast galloping, but it's nothing too distinguished- just business as usual. There's not a strong villain and it meanders a little between the action. There's an exciting land rush sequence with folks riding to find a land, but you got the bad guys ready to stop them. Musical relief is provided by Ozie Waters and his Colorado Rangers. Smiley Burnette is his usual silly yet lovable self.
