Tom Conway and Paula Corday in The Falcon in San Francisco (1945)

Goofs

The Falcon in San Francisco

Edit

Continuity

When Lawrence jumps on the cable car, 2 young women are sitting at the back. In the next shot, there is only one man.
When Tom gets thrown out of the car (in Chinatown?), he is right next to the curb. In the next shot, when he is getting up, he is further away from the curb.

Revealing mistakes

In the opening, The Falcon and Goldie are on an express train, The San Franciscan, which is travelling at high speed. At no time does the interior of the car give the impression it is part of a moving train as none of the train staff or passengers have any trouble walking, and the drinks served remain completely steady without any shaking from the train movement.

Crew or equipment visible

When Tom and Joan walk into the apartment after being met by Doreen at the door, as the camera pulls back, it's moving shadow falls across a couple of columns on the right side of the frame.
