In the opening sequence (DVD Timing at 2.30), the bathroom window opens out to the right. Later, when Reg opens the window to talk to his father who is in the garden (DVD Timing at 46.35), the window opens out to the left. Then during the closing sequence, the window reverts to being open to the right.
When Queenie rides with Billy in the giant teacup at the Wembley Exhibition of 1924, her voice has clearly been dubbed in a recording studio.
Frank is shown reading a copy of the 16 September 1930 edition of the Daily Mirror with the headline story about the elections in Germany held on 14 September where the Nazi Party increased their seats in the Reichstag from 12 to 107. He then goes to the back yard to help shake out the tablecloth, but the cherry tree there is still in full bloom, months after the blossoms should have disappeared.
The General Strike ended on May 12, 1926, but when Reg returns home with a bandaged head after the end of the strike the cherry tree in the back garden is still in bloom, long past its flowering period.
When Bob and Frank are talking in their opening scenes it appears that Frank's words have been changed since filming.
When the furniture is being taken into the kitchen in the opening scenes, an extra is reflected in the glass of the kitchen door just after Sylvia enters with the groceries.
The camera and the focus puller's hand (DVD Timing at 13.51) are visible in the reflection of the window as the camera pulls out of the 'Ticklers Tours of the Battlefields' shop front.
The shadow of a boom microphone is clearly visible in the kitchen doorframe as Ethel and Queenie move the box of dishes into the kitchen.
