Goofs

The establishing shot of the train at the Summerfield station shows the passenger car at the very end of the train, which extends behind and past the station building, but when the passengers board, they walk towards the front of the train and the passenger car is shown to be directly across from the station instead of sticking out into the train yard.

The film opens with a church service in which the pastor twice says it is the first day of Spring, which would be March 20th or 21st, but a day or two later, Mr. Peavey receives a letter dated in late April.
