Revealing mistakes

Though the movie takes place in the 1920s, some of the clothing is clearly from the early 1940s.
After Sheila reads Geoffrey's note that he likes her very much and to call him sometime, a New York Chronicle newspaper is shown. The page flips to a column, "Gab & Gossip", that includes an item, seemingly, about Sheila and Sandra. To the right of the column is an article titled "Less Holidays in Show Biz". The text in that story, after the first couple lines, is a jumble of sentence fragments, misspelled words, and repeated segments that have no relation to the title.
