| Plot Summary |
When Bugs Bunny learns that the title of this film is Tortoise Beats Hare, he is going to "show them", the them including the tortoise in question, Cecil Turtle. Doubting Bugs' claim that he can beat him any day of the week, Cecil accepts Bugs' $10 wager on a race between the two of them. Cecil shows that not only can slow and steady win the race, sort of, but that a little ingenuity is a more effective tool, that ingenuity namely in confusing the opponent which may feel more satisfactory.
