Plot

A toy soldier, distracted by a beautiful ice skater, is derelict in his duty and gets discharged. Later, when the screwball army declares war, he lucks into a chance to redeem himself.

Little Jan, a toy soldier, is distracted by a beautiful ice skater and is discharged for dereliction of duty. Later when "The Screwball Army" invades, Jan redeems himself by helping to defeat the intruders. This is the first of seven Academy Award® nominated Puppetoons for Best Animated Short Subject.
