George takes his Flying Squad Test on his motorcycle, having had a scarf with Ether on it placed round his face. In his elated state, he picks up Sir Robert on his handlebars and as he drives round the course, it is obvious that a dummy and a stuntman have been used for Sir Robert.
The film has obviously been spliced between the frame where George drives the motorcycle up to Sir Robert from behind and the next one where Sir Robert is seen sitting astride the handlebars.
When Fuller claims that the lorry with the propeller blades overtook his car "doing the knots" he seems to be unaware that the very same lorry's speed is limited to only 20 mph as seen earlier by the weight and speed stenciled on its chassis.
Although the action supposedly takes place in Birkenhead there is no trace of a Merseyside accent among any of the cast or bit players.
When George is struggling with the saboteurs in the warehouse he ends up in a barrel but when it falls off the pile of crates it is obvious that a dummy has been substituted in place of him.
