If they flew any higher, they'd be space cadets.

Warning: Spoilers
The Little Tough Guys and the Dead End/East Side Kids get together for this amusing but innocuous action comedy where the boys are working on an airfield for free flight lessons but haven't yet sat in the cockpit. When they finally get off the ground, their ineptitude is used by a bunch of crooks, leading to action, and thanks to their consent foul-ups, lots of laughs for the audience and sheer torture for those who work in the airfield.

Practically all of the kids are there with the exception of Leo Gorcey who was doing supporting character roles over at MGM. Billy Halop, Huntz Hall (who I think was in pretty much every incarnation of the Dead End Kids down to the last of the Bowery Boys movies) and Gabriel Dell lead the boys, with Shemp Howard being a single stooge on his own. Some good flying sequences helps this out, and fans of the boys will love it. Formula for everyone else.
