Continuity

After Mike Morgan tries to call Judy Barclay at her hotel once she leaves him at the 48 Club (at approx. 17 minutes), he looks up Dr. Sabbatt's number at the Fleetwood Apartments which is listed in the telephone book as Christopher 7-1872. Then, after going to the Hotel Roxbury to see Judy and agreeing to help her, Mike picks up the telephone and asks to be connected to Christopher 7-1872 (at approx 21 minutes). Judy asks Mike who he is calling and he tells her it's his father, Dad Morgan, who has been waiting at Mike's magic shop. Dad answers and Mike asks him to look in his desk for his gun and come to the Hotel Roxbury to stay with Judy.
When Morgan enters Tauro's apartment, he walks to the dresser and then to the bed and doesn't see Tauro's body spread out with candles on the floor. But when he turns around and walks back the same way, there's the body right in front of him to the left.

Revealing mistakes

One scene shows Morgan having some fun with a waiter by making sugar bowls disappear and reappear. All three times it is clearly accomplished with a camera or optical effect instead of actual slight-of-hand.
