First production "Our Gang" comedy short by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Longtime producer, Hal Roach sold the group of "Our Gang" children to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in May of 1938, after filming and production finished on Hide and Shriek (1938).
George 'Spanky' McFarland was not in the final three "Little Rascals" shorts and first two Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer shorts. In order, their titles are Feed 'em and Weep (1938), The Awful Tooth (1938), Hide and Shriek (1938); at MG-, The Little Ranger (1938) and Party Fever (1938). The first three were Hal Roach productions, and the final two were MGM productions.
