Goofs

The headline on the newspaper Suzy reads on the ship misspells the word "assassinated".

Typographical errors are not an uncommon occurrence in newspapers. While they are rare in headlines, they do still happen.

The Rolls-Royce limousine seen early in the film is a 1930s model made twenty years after the setting of the movie.

The film is supposed to take place during World War I (i.e., the 1910s), but the clothing used in the film, and especially the women's clothing and hair styles, is very much in the mid-1930s style.

When Suzy and Andre are saying goodbye, before Suzy gets on a carriage to the station, a clear shadow of a studio light on a stand and its power cord can be seen on the wall behind them.

Andre urges Suzy to shelter from the falling bombs with him beneath a staircase. Normally that would be the safest place, but the staircase is a flimsy open-tread one, which would be virtually useless as a shelter.
