The motel owner says the golf bag was heavy, but contained no clubs -- but when Hunter examines the bag it does have a couple of clubs as well as the machine gun.
After the suspect is disarmed he is frontally handcuffed -- but walking out the door in custody he is not cuffed. The suspect Is still cuffed while walking out - so that the other cuff could be attached to the steel rod behind the seat. He wasn't intended to be cuffed hand-to-hand.
