Philipp III of Burgund is portrayed in the movie as a man who, at the end, is standing faithfully behind Jeanne D'Arc. In real life he actually sold her after two attempts to escape to John of Lancaster, the Duke of Bedford.
Jean de Dunois was a faithful partner of Jeanne D'arc while in the movie he is portrayed as an enemy of hers.
