After Javier strikes Juan with the crucifix there is blood running down his face. However, the orientation of the blood on Juan's face changed from one cut to the next. Additionally, the orientation of Juan's body on the ground as well as the crucifix next to Juan's body changes between cuts.
When Javier is outside watching Anita being thrown out of her home; his mother also comes out of the house. However the orientation of where Javier and Anita are standing relative to his mom changes from one cut to the other.
Javier's body position on his bed after attacking Juan in the monastery; changed from cut to cut.
During the first flashback when Javier is playing piano; there is various sheet music lying on top of the piano cover. However, in the following cut which is a close-up of Javier and the piano; there is now sheet music hanging sloppily over the left corner of the piano and onto the keyboard covering it.
When Juan visits Javier at the monastery; his hood is covering his head. However, after he leaves the room after being threatened by Javier; his hood is now off his head.
During Juan's version of events; he clearly states that it was Javier who shot Anita. However, Juan's story conflicts with the accompanying footage which shows that just like in Javier's version; Juan takes out a gun and shoots Anita when she jumps out in front of Javier. In both versions, Juan fires the gun which makes no sense.
When a man visits Anita's home; Javier watches a silhouette of the man aggressively coming on to her and then Anita striking him once in the face. When the man leaves the building his face has visible bloody scratch marks. However, she slapped him and did not rake his face with her fingernails, therefore, there should be a red slap mark if anything but not any scratches.
When the interiors of Javier's house are first shown, there is a particular clock with crooked hands. On the close-ups, you can see may pieces of the item are crudely cut out from cardboard or a similar material. The same can be said for many walls during the monastery shots, which show white spots where apparently the prop designers couldn't make the paint completely seep into the surface.
During Juan's version of events; Juan is sitting with Anita as Javier is playing piano. However, you hear a woman's voice accompanying Javier but there is no one in the room singing.
When Javier is playing a song on the piano you hear a female voice singing but there is only him in the room. There is a female watching via a window in the building across from him but she is just staring silently. This could be considered artistic license but the appearance of the female is confusing thus interfering with the flow of the film for the viewer.
When Javier sees Juan with Anita and strikes him with the cane; you hear the sound of the first strike. However, for the following strikes, the audio is muted.
