Bombshell

Revealing mistakes

A piece of debris can be seen at the top of the camera lens in several of the shots of Lola riding a horse in the desert. The debris appears and disappears from shot to shot.
(at around 27 mins) Leaving the Cocoanut Grove, as Lola and Space get into the cab, there is a brief moment in the cut where the actors are silently waiting for the "action" cue. Space is holding his jacket stiffly, waiting to put it down, and Lola is lightly primping. At the exact same moment, her primping becomes more vigorous, she begins speaking her lines, and Space puts down his jacket.
(at around 47 mins) As Space is running up stairs to confront Lola about "having a baby," Lola and Loretta are in the bedroom in front of the mirror, standing still and waiting for "action." After a second, they both begin primping, and Space enters the room.
At the breakfast with the Middletons, Mrs. Middleton's dog appears and disappears on her arm from long shot to close shot.

Anachronisms

When Lola turns on the radio music immediately begins to play. But radio receivers from this time used vacuum tubes that required a warm up period before any sound could be heard. Modern radios use solid-state electronics and don't require any warm up time. But these were not invented yet.

Errors in geography

Saguaro cactus do not grow in California but from central Arizona to northern Mexico.

Character error

During the first scene with the secretary, she scolds Loretta who is passing the phone. Instead of covering the mouthpiece, she covers the earpiece of the handset, allowing the interchange between them to be heard by the caller.
