In an establishing shot of the town, a man in the background appears over a man in the foreground, even when the foreground character should be blocking him from our view.
In the barracks, we see a wide variety of different anthropomorphic animals in their beds. In the shot where they leap from their beds onto the sergeant, they are still a varied group. But then suddenly the various animals disappear and a group of lookalike dogs of various sizes take their place. The pile of dogs are supposedly putting on their clothes, but their clothes actually appear on them suddenly: in one frame, they're all in their long underwear. In the next, they're in uniform. All this occurs in a single shot. The commotion is supposed to conceal the animation tricks.
