When Perrin is instructing the County Attorney what to say to the jury, he is holding a drink in his right hand and a cigar with his left. But on the following cuts; the cigar disappears and reappears out of Perrin's left hand a couple of times.

When Perrin is demonstrating to the County Attorney what to say to the jury, Perrin grabs the Attorney's collar and while holding it in his right hand he begins to smack the table with it. But on the following cut when Parks asked Perrin about the last execution of a woman in the state, Perrin is now holding a drink in his right hand instead of holding the collar.

When the journalist was gathered around the piano singing "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling"; you could hear the lovely Joan Blondell singing off-key especially on the final line of the song.

Vivienne Osborne is always acting like she has something to hide and at one point Leon Ames shiftily gives her the OK to tell what happened the night her husband was murdered. But the film never discloses what they were concealing.
