"Studie Nr. 6" or "Study No. 6" is a 2-minute animated short film from 1930, so this one is over 85 years old already and to put it in perspective this was even from before the years of Nazi Germany. That's how old it is. German experimental and animation film pioneer Oskar Fischinger made it back then and it is from early in his career still as he wasn't even 30 when it came out. You can also see this by the fact that there are no colors in here yet like in many of his later works. It may be in black-and-white, but it is as fast in terms of both the animation and the music as his work usually is. He includes nice forms and shades all the time and here and there you may even see something like a jelly fish. If you really love Fischinger's animation style, then this is definitely worth seeing as it is one of the most known works from his "Study" series. I personally still don't think the lack of a story and the approach as a whole makes it not worth seeing for broad audiences.
