Goofs

When Klondike finds Lefty on a flyover, his airplane is number 1002. When he lands to pick Lefty up, his plane number has changed to 1004.

Following the scene where Panama (Jack Holt) gives Lefty (Ralph Graves) a spanking in their tent, Lefty jumps up from the cot. As he does so, his toupee becomes dislodged, falling forward so that the top of his balding head is revealed for a split-second. Actor Graves immediately pushes the hair back before the camera cuts to another angle.

In the football game at the beginning of the film, when Lefty is hiked the ball, the camera is shooting through the center's legs. In the background you can see the grandstands at the far end-zone are completely empty of fans.

A front page headline dated April 5, 1927 makes reference to Charles Lindbergh as though he were already famous. In fact, the flight that made Lindbergh a household name didn't occur until six weeks later.

When Lefty Phelps is polishing an aircraft, Sergeant Williams calls to him by yelling "Hey, soldier!" As both men are US Marines, the sergeant would not have addressed him that way. Soldiers are members of the US Army and a Marine would actually consider that remark to be an insult.
