Jesus states, "He that is without sin among you - let him first cast a stone at her." Several contemplate throwing a stone until they read what Jesus has written in the sand. A man says, "God, I thank Thee that I am not as other men are!", and Jesus scribbles "Adulterer" in the sand. When the man reads the word, his right arm is bent with his fist over his chest. The camera then focuses on Jesus, and the man's hand is at his waist, about shoulder level of Jesus, who is on one knee. The man then drops the rock from his left hand with his right hand dropping lower, almost touching Jesus, and he turns to leave. The camera view changes to a long shot, and the man has not yet taken a full step away from Jesus, but his right hand is now a couple feet away from Jesus.
In the film, Jesus restores a blind girl's sight and the film cites Luke 8:39. This part of the Bible is referring to a man who had demons driven from him. The next chapter of Luke refers to a man whose sight is restored, not a young girl.
When the blind girl gets pulled through the window, she is wearing modern underwear.
In the first scene in Mary Magdalene's house, studio lights are reflected in a large hand-held mirror.
