Shirley Temple and Lionel Barrymore in The Little Colonel (1935)

Goofs

The Little Colonel

Edit

Continuity

When Lloyd returns home after making a mud pie, the amount of mud on her arms and dress changes between shots.
When Swazey and Hull come to see Jack, they stop and speak to Lloyd. During the conversation, Lloyd's hat ribbons alternate between hanging down her back and hanging over her shoulder.
During the baptism, the sheet behind and over Henry Clay change between shots.
The position of Jack's hand changes, when he tells Elizabeth about the land he bought.
The position of Higgins' arm changes between shots.

Factual errors

Mom Beck telling Lloyd that her mother also had golden curls and pink cheeks as a child when her mother is brunette is not necessarily an error. Many blonde children's hair darkens as they age. Shirley Temple's hair darkened as she grew older and was also dark brunette as an adult.
Colonel Lloyd's cook tells little Lloyd that she and her mother Elizabeth have 'the same golden curls'. But Elizabeth has dark brown hair, so this dialogue makes no sense.
