Fritz Schade as a fat grocery boy is no Roscoe Arbuckle. In what is, even for Keystone, an exceptionally stupid slapstick comedy,, which turns out halfway through, rather unexpectedly, to be a western, everybody knocks each other for no apparent reason, except that Schade and Chase are rivals for the hand of the store-owner's daughter, while two thieves go off with the safe.
