Storyline
Plot Summary |
The prologue of this amusing desertation of measured wealth shows a band of pirates of the old school burying their treasure. Three centuries later a precious pair of tramps discovers the treasure chest bared by the drifting sands. They buy an auto, a lot of flashy jewelry, misfit clothes, and finally as a matter of form, visit a Turkish bath (but do not like it). They then invest some loose millions in a palace and give a reception. Count Nowakount engages guests for the function, but they leave in disgust when the hobos release their table manners and dancing diversions. They quickly decide that high life is too uninteresting, get back into their rags and take to the ties, and again become happy hobos. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis |
