It starts with the background of two friends. One belonging to poor background while the other to the rich one. Both friends are about to finish their education. In days of holidays the rich guy visits the poor guys home and tends to meet his lady love who happens to be the rich guys neighbor. The girl also falls for him. Over the period of the future course of meetings the rich friend informs the poor friend of his lady love and seeks his help in putting forth his case in front of Susi, his lady love. The poor friend waits for the right time to bring the proposal to Susi's father who is a railway officer in Sindh. The father having raised his children alone believes he wants to have both is daughters married near about and not far from his sight. The proposal is also in the meantime sent by the rich friends mother to Susi's father who rejects the same due to the above reason. Later on post request and instance of Hasu, the poor friend, Susi's father relents and accepts. Susi is married and story moves forward. The rich friend however has a doubt about Susi and Hasu more than friends. This creates misunderstanding and results in the rich guy sending Susi back home to her father. Now the major turn. Partition 1947 happens. Everyone has to run for life and move to the newly formed India. All of the characters independently in groups reach Mumbai and start life afresh. While Susi and Hasu and Susi family are going through difficult times, on the other hand the rich guy due to his fathers good fortunes is able to build on his business with expansions. He gets busy with life and tries to get into quick money. Hasu comes to know that his rich friend has made good and goes to him to request him to take Susi back. He rejects. Life goes ahead. Susi's father also tries to meet with the Son-in-laws father to make amends and clear the confusion. He also accepts but then Susi's husband comes in and asks his father in law to 'get out'. Both the fathers are astounded by his approach. Jump to the climax and Susi's husbands wrong business decisions make him loose a lot of money. Hasu comes to know of this that if not paid his friend will loose everything. Hasu goes out to find his old friends who were money-lenders and arranges for the repayment and even pays it without anyone knowing. His rich friend on finding this comes to know of his folly. On insistence of his father he goes to seek forgiveness of Hasu and Susi. Hasu and Susi are discussing where Susi refers to Hasu as her brother she never had. The rich friend overhears this and asks for both their forgiveness. All ends well.

- Strahil is a leader of a rebel band. The Turkish governor abducts beautiful girl Ivana for his harem. The outlaws hold the governor's child to ransom. She hits the Turkish governor. The rebels rescue Ivana. The governor rises in a last effort and fires at Ivana. Dying Ivana manages to tell Strahil that she wants him to bury her in their favorite glade and return to the band. Strahil raises his hand to take an oath over Ivana's dead body.
