Ultimately, the Player also realizes Yathay's will to endure the unimaginable fueled a deeper purpose to reclaim all that he lost by living. On a mythical branch, the Player is taken to a hardened heart, metaphorically represented by the wondrous temple of Angkor Wat to be reunited with his family. Love was the path to his personal salvation and hope his beacon of light that brings justice to his once ravaged country.
