- Hiromi, attends junior high school in Tokyo. The combination of getting bullied on campus and her fathers death causes her to stop attending school. One day she is invited by her online friend, Kenmun, to visit him on Ishigaki Island. Hiromi sets out to meet Kenmun, however, Hiromi has another reason to go to Ishigaki Island. She may be able to see her mother who left when she was a child. Will she be able to find her long lost mother? More importantly, will she be able to find happiness in life?
- Kanako joins a high school where she is reunited with her childhood friend, Eijun. Following the idea of Seiryo, Kanako's elder brother, they form a band. They aim to perform at the school festival, however, they are unable to get through the audition. The following year, they perform at a local music event, Yaeyama Band Tengoku, under a new band name of "Beginning" instead of "Seiryos". The band wins first place, qualifying to compete in the national event in Tokyo, but that night, Seiryo gets killed in an accident. In order to live out his dream to "make a record debut in Tokyo", the band members go to the national event and perform the song Seiryo left behind, and they become the champions.
- Japanese woman Ayumi was a writer and contributor for a publishing house. Gyouku worked there as well and loved his photography. The employer goes broke, but never mind because the pair are happily married and moving to a remote island with good food, natural beauty and a lighthouse. Gyouku and Ayumi decide it is time for he to become a citizen of Japan, but there is the paperwork and there is everything else.
