Does all that fit in a movie? If the film is "Girls", by Gonzalo García-Pelayo, that and much more fits. It is possible to witness the miracle in each of its images, touch Grace with the fingers of the mind, free the imagination from ties, see oneself carried away by an unstoppable wave of sensations and never want to reach the beach, feel that everything is again. possible in the easiest way and that what intuition dictated has always been right, traveling to the origin of beauty..., to say just some of the things I have experienced after seeing "Girls" for the first time. Read more GirlsBut there are many more to discover for those who are fortunate enough to see it, because "Girls", which puts before our eyes what is most common to everyone, what is most universal, has so many particularities, so many nuances, that it manages, at the same time, to be unique For each viewer, it also has the virtue of being formed with the materials that each life keeps. And how does Gonzalo achieve it? Putting before our eyes the evidence that goes unnoticed, what we see less of by dint of seeing, suggesting that we remove the blindfolds from our senses and feelings, that we reconnect with everything valuable that intuition reminds us that we keep or that we life saves for when we want to take it. How does Gonzalo achieve it? Making us see live. Seems easy right? Well, whoever is tempted to think that it is, should try to show the essence of the universe in the gestures of girls, or, rather, of women, creator, bearer, transmitter of life and blessed by her with this gift, as Gonzalo emphasizes at the end of "Niñas". One of the first things that surprised me about the film is its naturalness, its simplicity, but let no one be mistaken in this regard: simplicity is not ease. The greatest ideas in history, the greatest achievements, are sometimes simple, never easy. GirlsTo begin with, the idea of "Girls" is already of many carats, showing the possibilities of the feminine universe, the potential of its transformations and the journey of thought through existence in an impressionist fresco composed of girls - all of them are - from three generations of the same family. Letting the natural beauty of that fresco prevail, but also - and there, for me, Gonzalo is unsurpassed - filling it with continuous enriching proposals, suggesting, reflecting, accentuating, underlining. Because it is the way to show what is definitely captivating about this film, the mix of the universal with its translation to the García-Pelayo universe, where I always admire the originality and surprise, in addition to the exquisite aesthetic sense in every detail: the radiance of the sun between two branches that shake hands, the insertion of the excellent short film, in perfect connection, the voices and the texts, the representation that shows the timelessness of Greek theater, the particular Andalusian conception of life. And the climax scene of Vanessa's impressive dance, which leaves you rooted to the spot and destroys the few defenses you were trying to put up, if you had any left at this point, to stop the feelings from galloping. GirlsAnd music, always music, inseparable from Gonzalo, unsurpassed in Gonzalo. I already know that with this I am not discovering anything, that there is his unique trajectory, known to everyone, but the choice of each fragment that underlines the images becomes pure magic, it manages to make the intangible tangible. Of course this is a passionate review, I have just seen "Girls" and I am still under its influence, with all the emotions it transmits to the surface, but I know that it is another film that I will not get tired of seeing and that, as in the previous ones by Gonzalo García-Pelayo, every time I see it I will find new details and nuances in it, new things to think and feel. "Girls" is much more than childhood recovered or a beautiful tribute to femininity, it is everything wonderful that the journey of life contains for those who want to enjoy it through the purity of feeling, beauty and Grace. A true gift.

Paradoxically, as agricultural technology advances, promoting more efficient production, the need for labor decreases and fewer young farmers can stay on the land. Higher costs force farms to consolidate or grow, and many family farms and the rural towns depending on them simply disappear. Galvanizing optimism, strategy, and elbow grease, Josh and Matt rebuild JAWS each year to vie for the derby title. They complete high school, then college, preparing to farm. But even as Josh leads JAWS to victory, he's defeated in his lifelong passion to harvest the fields his great-grandfather first tilled, and he is forced to leave the farm to find a job.
